Poongwon Precision produces bar-type metal masks for vacuum deposition of organic materials in manufacturing OLED TV.

As the size of the substrate (2,200*2,500mm) used in manufacturing OLED panels for TV is too large, it is difficult to manufacture as Open Metal Mask. Therefore, Poongwon Precision independently developed and mass-produces a stick bar-type metal mask for vacuum deposition of organic materials on large substrates. Stick Bar Mask is about 3m long and with tensile, it can sag and touch the substrate to be vacuum-deposited, causing defects in the process.

Poongwon Precision devised and registered a patent for Stick Bar Mask in the form of protrusions (supports) to maintain the distance from the substrate, and is recognized for its outstanding technology in the industry with the minimum error range in operation.
