(Design Revision Technology)

In FMM production using wet-etching, the Roll-to-Roll method, which enables continuous production by connecting a metal plate to equipment in a roll form, is generally used. In this process, a slight deformation of the thin metal plate occurs and if it is processed as is, defects occur. Poongwon Precision minimizes product defects with design revision technology that analyzes the deformation occurring in the manufacturing process.

Etching Resist For FMM

(Synthetic Resin Solution Optimized for FMM Manufacturing)

In the FMM manufacturing process, synthetic resin is applied to the liquid to prevent corrosion of the primary processing surface. At this time, the step height and pattern of fine holes of FMM may change depending on the synthetic resin formulation, coating thickness, and drying conditions. Poongwon Precision produces more precise FMMs by independently developing and applying new synthetic resin formulation with polyurethane-based polymer materials.

Fine Etching Technology

(Delicate Etching Technology)

Compared to OMM (Open Metal Mask) and SBM (Stick Bar Mask), FMM (Fine Metal Mask) requires a very delicate process and technology level. Poongwon Precision improved the etching process technology secured from the OMM/SBM development process and developed the fine etching technology for FMM. By optimizing the process parameters at each stage of the Roll-to-Roll process, errors that may occur when the thin metal foil moves are minimized.
